Driver and Delivery Technician

Inflatable Event Professionals is a Spanaway, Washington-based Inflatable Rental Company that services all types of parties and events.  We deliver inflatables, games, concessions, tables/chairs, canopies and other event equipment to a variety of locations. We do everything from backyard birthday parties to large city and corporate events!

The work is simple, you will get your exercise and will be spending time outdoors. You will be delivering, setting up and taking down inflatable bounce houses / games / water slides for private backyard parties and larger events. For the driver position you must be able to drive a 20' box truck or vehicle with attached cargo trailer. Salary depends on experience.

Veterans and College and High School Athletes are highly encouraged to apply.The pay starts at $18.00 per hour.  Depending on your job performance and initiative you can advance to a higher pay level easily.

Schedule: Part Time: Weekends and some Week days

Wage: Hourly $18 - $25  Depending on Experience

Job Description:

• Days and Hours will vary every week.
• Shifts include early morning and night shifts and you will be working in teams.
• Must have a valid Washington license
• Clean driving record and be able to drive a box truck.
• Responsibilities include: Load, deliver, unload, set up, sometimes staff, return to pick up, return to warehouse unload of event equipment, inflatables and rides. Warehouse work during the week includes setting up inflatables and equipment to clean and general maintenance as well as prep for the following weekend.
• Must be able to lift 50-100 pounds.
• You will deliver to backyard parties, schools, churches, and businesses and other large events and will be expected to dress and act appropriately as you are representing our company. 
• Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve customer complaints
• Make sure safety and operating instructions for all equipment is fully reviewed with the customer and appropriate paperwork is completed.
• Collect payments and complete paperwork
• Notify supervisors about any major repairs and maintenances.
• Inspect and operate delivery vehicle. Maintain the vehicle clean and safe.
• Perform vehicle inspection before and after each trip
• When transporting our equipment, items are tied down, stored according to procedures, and will be protected and treated with the same care you would give moving your personal items. We will teach you everything you need to know about the equipment, safety, and proper set up and take down procedures and techniques.
• You will be expected to maintain strict inventory control of all equipment (tools, tarps, bungie cords, metal and plastic stakes, sandbags and all other items used in securing the bounce houses in an appropriate manner).
• To qualify you must be in good physical condition.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Must be punctual, must have own reliable transportation and cell phone
• Delivery drive experience and a high school diploma
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Must be able to follow route and time schedule
• Team and goal oriented with an attention to detail
• Prior experience driving a 26' box truck or larger (ability to tow a trailer is helpful but not required)
• Follow local and state driving laws and road regulations.
• Good Driving record with no traffic violations

Equipment Delivery Technicians
