In this classic lawn ball game, your guests participate by ‘bowling’ their balls closest to the white cue ball. Bocce Ball is played with nine balls (8 large balls and the small white cue ball). Each team (consisting of 1, 2, or 4 players) receives 4 large LED-colored balls. After the designated person tosses the coin, you start the game by throwing the small white cue ball onto the lawn or into the play area. The winner of the toss gets to throw the first large ball. Each team then tries to throw their balls closest to the cue ball or tries to knock their opponents balls away from the cue ball. When all the large balls have been thrown, points are given for the balls closest to the cue ball. The first team that earns 16 points is the winner. If the LED balls are outside the play area, it is deemed out of bounds and is not counted.
